Job Description

This positioninvolves working with the MEP Design & EngineeringTeam at Axium Global's Delivery Centre in Andheri,Mumbai. The team consists of skilled professionals,including mechanical, electrical and plumbingengineers with varied experience. The senior engineerwould require taking on a leadership role with the potentialof growing a team reporting to him/her

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the TeamLeader of MEP Design & Engineering
  
• Responsibility for theoverall design of electrical systems & deliverables,including Concept Design, Schematic Design, Design Development,Tender Design/Documentation (including Technical Specifications,BOQ, Schedules and Drawings)
  
• Designing LV/HV systemsto current legislation and codes of practice for various type ofbuildings based on client brief & guidelines
  
• Working independentlyon various electrical calculations and power/lighting/schematicmark-ups as per project requirements
  
• Regularly communicatingwith the client and taking on design responsibilities forcommercial, residential, retail, laboratory and hospital projects
  
• Understanding codes andstandards local to project location and utilising the latest,industry-leading software
  

Qualification andExperience Required:

• BE/BTech/ME/MTechdegree in electrical engineering or a related technical field
  
• Minimum 8 years ofexperience in designing electrical systems for commercial,retail, hospital or residential projects
  
• Experience usingelectrical design software for carrying out electrical calculations
  
• Proficiency in AutoCADfor preparing electrical design layouts and using MS Office
  
• Proven experience inmanaging client communication independently
  
• Experience working withreputable global MEP engineering companies
  
• Experience working onUK/Australia/US projects
  

Compensation:
