Job summary

AMS Human Resources in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Packing Specialist to drive packing operations for machines and components. You will lead packing development, plan and procure materials, and coordinate with factory, QC, planning, procurement and SCM to ensure timely, quality packing.

The role requires hands-on experience in industrial packing, vendor management, and SAP-driven packing transactions (PGI).

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of core packing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in packing operations / packing development is preferred.
• Experience with industrial/machine/equipment packing will be highly relevant.

Responsibilities

• Handling packing operations and development for machines/components.
• Planning and procurement of packing materials.
• Packing vendor management and vendor performance/KPI monitoring.
• Ensuring quality, TAT and optimized packing standards.
• Handling packing-related customer complaints using 8D methodology.
• Developing cost-effective and sustainable packing methods.
• Coordination with Factory, QC, Planning, Procurement and SCM teams.
• SAP transactions related to packing dimensions, weight, packing list and PGI.
• Maintaining packing status and ensuring timely completion of packing activities.
