Job summary

Hero MotoCorp in Jaipur invites applications for the role of Sr. Engineer - MCU Control Engineer.

You will lead the design, development, and validation of advanced MCU algorithms for EV motor control (PMSM, BLDC, Induction), implementing FOC, MTPA, Field weakening, and MTPV strategies, and driving sensorless control with embedded programming. You will also develop MOSFET thermal models and magnet models for system tuning and efficiency optimization, and mentor a team of engineers in control

Qualifications

• Expertise in FOC, MTPA, MTPV, and advanced PWM techniques.
• Deep understanding of sensorless motor control equations and how to implement them in embedded code.
• Extensive MATLAB implementation and Model-Based Design capabilities.
• Strong grasp of power electronics, MOSFET thermal modeling, and motor magnet modeling.
• Expertise across motor topologies: PMSM, BLDC, Induction Motor, Servo.
• Mastery of PID and PI control techniques (anti-windup, decoupling).
• Proven track record in efficiency tuning and DC link utilization.

Sr. Engineer - MCU Control Engineer

A purpose driven role for you

Lead the design, development, and validation of advanced Motor Control Unit (MCU) algorithms for EV
application including PMSM, BLDC and induction motor. This role is critical in implementing highly efficient
and robust power electronics control, driving the formulation of FOC, MTPA, Field weakening and MTPV
strategies. The engineer will also lead sensorless motor control, integrating fundamental electromagnetic
and mathematical equations directly into embedded programming, alongside generating highly accurate
MOSFET thermal models and magnet models for comprehensive system tuning and efficiency optimization.
