Cyient DLM Limited is seeking a Senior Engineer - Industrial Engineering in Mysuru to lead capacity planning, manpower optimization, and Lean initiatives. You will focus on improving layouts, setting up new lines, and driving productivity improvements in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.

The role requires hands-on experience in industrial engineering within a reputed manufacturing organization, strong analytical skills, and ownership mindset.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required.
• 4–5 years of experience in industrial engineering in manufacturing.
• Experience in capacity planning, line setup, Lean initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Perform capacity calculation and capacity planning to support production requirements.
• Conduct manpower estimation and workforce planning for manufacturing operations.
• Optimize manufacturing layouts to improve operational efficiency, material flow, and space utilization.
• Lead and support Greenfield and Brownfield manufacturing line setup projects.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives across production operations.
• Plan and execute productivity improvement projects.
• Conduct time studies, motion studies, and work measurement activities.
• Implement line balancing and resource optimization techniques.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support Kaizen, 5S, and Lean Six Sigma projects.
• Analyze manufacturing data and provide recommendations for process improvements.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to improve overall operational performance.
