Cyient DLM Limited in Mysore is seeking a Senior Engineer - Industrial Engineering with hands-on experience in manufacturing. You will own capacity planning, manpower optimization, layout improvements, and line setup initiatives to boost productivity.

Key focus areas include Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma projects, time studies, and collaborative work with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to drive continuous improvement across the plant.

Competenze

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Production or equivalent.
• 4–5 years of hands-on industrial engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Strong in capacity planning, line design, and Lean initiatives.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Engineer - Industrial Engineering with strong hands-on experience in industrial engineering functions within a reputed manufacturing organization. The candidate will be responsible for capacity planning, manpower optimization, manufacturing layout improvement, new line setup, productivity enhancement, and implementation of Lean Manufacturing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform capacity calculation and capacity planning to support production requirements.
  
• Conduct manpower estimation and workforce planning for manufacturing operations.
  
• Optimize manufacturing layouts to improve operational efficiency, material flow, and space utilization.
  
• Lead and support Greenfield and Brownfield manufacturing line setup projects.

• Conduct time studies, motion studies, and work measurement activities.
  
• Implement line balancing and resource optimization techniques.
