Job summary

CYIENT DLM in Bengaluru is seeking a procurement professional with 2–4 years of experience in EMS/electronics to manage POs, ETDs, and material planning. You will collaborate with logistics, stores, and quality teams to keep production on schedule.

The role emphasizes supplier management, negotiation, and adherence to procurement policies, with a focus on on-time delivery and continuous improvement in a design-led manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or engineering degree in ECE or related field.
• Experience in EMS/Electronics/Aerospace Electronics preferred.
• Strong negotiation, follow-up, and stakeholder management experience.

Responsibilities

• Release POs and manage pull-in/push-out within 3 days of the MRP run.
• Update supplier ETDs in ERP within 3 weeks of order release.
• Coordinate with Logistics, Stores and Quality for inwarding, inspection and stock updates.
• Monitor supplier commitments to ensure on-time delivery for production.
• Reconcile open POs with suppliers monthly and resolve discrepancies.
• Handle ECNs and procurement actions.
• Close NCNRs and CAPAs with IQC and suppliers.
• Manage RMA activities and follow up on replacements/credits.
• Ensure procurement aligns with the monthly purchase plan.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Production Planners for timely kit completion.
• Maintain supplier relationships and expedite materials to avoid delays.
• Track shortages and proactively resolve supply chain issues.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.

Educational Qualification

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE/E&C) or related engineering discipline.
• Candidates with experience in Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS), Electronics, Aerospace, Automotive Electronics, or Industrial Electronics will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Release Purchase Orders (POs) and take pull-in/push-out actions within 3 days of MRP run. Cancel POs that are no longer required.
• Ensure supplier ETDs are updated in ERP within 3 weeks of order release and initiate payments wherever required.
• Coordinate with Logistics, Stores, and Quality teams for material inwarding, inspection, and stock updates.
• Monitor supplier commitments and ensure on-time delivery of materials to support production schedules.
• Conduct monthly reconciliation of open purchase orders with suppliers and resolve discrepancies.
• Handle Engineering Change Notifications (ECNs) and take necessary procurement actions.
• Drive closure of NCNRs and CAPAs related to supplier quality issues in coordination with IQC and suppliers.
• Handle RMA (Return Material Authorization) activities and follow up for replacements/credits.
• Ensure procurement activities are executed as per the monthly purchase plan.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Production Planners for timely kit completion and material availability.
• Maintain effective supplier relationships and proactively resolve supply chain challenges.
• Track critical shortages and expedite materials to avoid production delays.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
