Job summary

Interface Microsystems in India is seeking a quality professional to oversee new product development and ensure manufacturing readiness across SMT front-end and back-end assembly. The role emphasizes adherence to customer requirements and PPAP deliverables.

You will drive corrective actions, perform root-cause analyses, and monitor quality milestones to mitigate risks and ensure consistent product quality throughout the SLC period.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of New Product Development Process.
• Experience with SMT Front End and Post SMT Assembly.
• Knowledge of Electronic Assembly Circuit Analysis.
• Familiarity with 8D problem solving.
• Experience with FTA and PPAP.
• IATF 16949 awareness.
• IPC-A-610 product quality standards.
• Familiarity with VDA 6.3 / VDA 6.5 (preferred).
• Quality planning and risk assessment.
• Ensure compliance with customer specific requirements.
• Support PPAP submissions.
• Track project quality milestones.
• Identify and mitigate quality risks.
• Ensure manufacturing readiness before customer build.
• Drive corrective actions against failures.
• Handle customer quality requirements.
• Perform root cause analysis during SLC period.
• Ensure lesson learnt is monitored and implemented.
