Job summary

Satyam Pharma Chem in Maharashtra is seeking a maintenance engineer responsible for electrical and instrumentation upkeep in a chemical manufacturing plant. You will plan preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance, troubleshoot SCADA/ PLC-based systems, and ensure safety compliance and timely repairs.

Aligned with plant operations, you will maintain transformers, MCC/PCC, electrical panels, motors, VFDs, and process instrumentation.

Qualifications

• Plan and execute preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Maintain transformers, MCC, PCC, electrical panels, motors, VFDs, and SCADA/PLC.
• Troubleshoot and maintain transmitters, sensors, control valves, switches and other process instruments.
• Maintain plant utilities such as DG sets and UPS.
• Ensure safety, SOPs, work permits and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor equipment performance and minimize plant downtime.
• Plan, coordinate and execute erection, installation and commissioning of electrical, instrumentation and utility equipment.
• Support mechanical maintenance of pumps, reactors, agitators, gearboxes, compressors and other plant equipment.
• Maintain maintenance records and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Brief Job Description:

• Plan and execute preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of electrical and instrumentation systems in a chemical manufacturing plant.
• Hands-on experience in maintenance of Transformers, MCC, PCC, electrical panels, motors, VFDs, SCADA/PLC and control systems.
• Troubleshoot and maintain industrial instrumentation, including transmitters, sensors, control valves, switches and other process instruments.
• Carry out maintenance of plant utilities such as DG sets, UPS etc.
• Monitor equipment performance, identify recurring issues and ensure timely corrective actions to minimize plant downtime.
• Plan, coordinate and execute erection installation and commissioning of electrical, instrumentation and utility equipment.
• Provide support in mechanical maintenance of pumps, reactors, agitators, gearboxes, compressors and other plant equipment.
• Maintain maintenance records and ensure compliance with safety standards, SOPs, work permits and statutory requirements.
