Job summary

Trichemie Plant Engineering Solutions seeks an Electrical Design Engineer with 4-8 years in basic and detail engineering for oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical or pharmaceutical projects. You will develop datasheets, load lists, and electrical specs while coordinating with departments and vendors.

You should be proficient in Excel, Word, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, Navisworks, and familiar with Revit/Plant3D, IS/IEC codes, DIALux lighting calculations, and ETAP for load flow and short circuit

Qualifications

• Graduate/ Postgraduate in Electrical Engineering (Regular) with 4-8 years of experience in electrical engineering for basic and detail engineering phases in oil & gas (onshore) / petrochemical/ chemical/ pharmaceutical projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with other departments for electrical input/output data.
• Coordinate with vendors for enquiries and offers.
• Prepare Electrical Datasheets and Load List.
• Prepare specifications (Cable, Cable Tray, Electrical Panel, Transformer, DG, UPS).
• Prepare and check Cable sizing and Schedule, Lighting, Lightning protection calculations.
• Perform Cable Tray calculations (Tray sizing, Cable Tray Loading).
• Calculate Electrical Bulk MTO.
• Issue enquiries to vendors, evaluate offers.
• Perform Technical Bid Evaluation for electrical equipment.
• Review vendor drawings (VDR) for other disciplines.

Job description

Position Title: Electrical Design Engineer

The candidate should be Graduate/ Postgraduate (Regular only) in Electrical Engineering with 4-8 years of experience in Electrical engineering for Basic and detail engineering phases in projects of oil & gas (onshore) /petrochemical/ chemical/ Pharmaceutical etc.

He/ She should have capability to perform following activities:

• Coordination with other departments for Electrical input/output data.
• Co-ordination with vendors.
• Preparation of Electrical Datasheets, Load List.
• Preparation of specification (Cable, Cable Tray, Electrical Panel, Transformer, DG, UPS etc.)
• Preparation and checking of Cable sizing& Schedule, Lighting, Lightning protection calculation.
• Performing Cable Tray calculations like Tray sizing, Cable Tray Loading.
• Calculation Electrical Bulk MTO.
• Floating the Enquiry to vendor, taking offers from vendor, Evaluating the offers.
• TBE (Technical Bid Evaluation) for electrical equipment.
• VDR (Vendor Drawing Review for other disciplines)

He/ She should be conversant with:

• Excel spreadsheet, MS word, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, Navisworks etc.
• Exposure of 3D model software. Revit/ Plant3D
• ISO certified company environment
• Relevant Industrial design codes such as IS / IEC codes.
• Ability to perform Lighting Calculation in DIALUX.
• ETAP software.(Load Flow, Short Circuit & Relay Coordination)
