Job summary

Koch in Bengaluru is seeking a Sr EBX MDM Engineer to design, develop, and enhance master data solutions using TIBCO EBX. You will implement data models, workflows, and Java customizations while building integrations via REST APIs, AWS Glue, and Python to enable trusted data across domains.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
• 4 to 6 years of hands‑on MDM development using TIBCO EBX.
• Experience developing and supporting MDM solutions with EBX.
• Experience with data modeling, workflow design, and Java customization in EBX.
• Knowledge of EBX add-ons (ADIX, DINT, DPRA, MAME).
• Experience integrating systems via REST APIs and data migration activities.
• Knowledge of MDM principles, data governance, data quality, and match‑and‑merge.

As a Sr EBX MDM Engineer, you will help deliver trusted, high-quality master data that enables informed business decisions across the enterprise. You will leverage your expertise in TIBCO EBX Master Data Management (MDM), data integration, and data governance to design, develop, and enhance master data solutions that improve data quality, operational efficiency, and business outcomes. You will collaborate with business and technology teams to establish a trusted source of truth across customer, supplier, finance, and material domains while contributing to digital transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Will Do

• Design, develop, and enhance Master Data Management solutions using TIBCO EBX.


• Configure and support data models, workflows, validations, and Java-based customizations within the MDM platform.


• Build and maintain integrations between business applications and the MDM ecosystem using REST APIs, AWS Glue, and Python.


• Support master data onboarding, consolidation, de-duplication, and governance initiatives to improve data quality and stewardship.


• Develop and execute data migration strategies, including one-time and incremental data loads from source systems.


• Enable trusted master data distribution to downstream consumer systems through scalable integration solutions.


• Partner with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into sustainable technical solutions.


• Contribute to automation, operational excellence, and adoption of AI-enabled development practices, including GitHub Copilot.


• Support CI/CD practices, testing, deployment activities, and continuous platform improvements.


• Promote knowledge sharing, documentation, and operational readiness across the organization.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance Technology, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.


• 4 to 6 years of hands‑on experience in Master Data Management (MDM) development using the TIBCO EBX MDM tool.


• Experience developing and supporting Master Data Management solutions using TIBCO EBX.


• Experience with data modeling, workflow design, and Java-based customization within EBX.


• Working knowledge of EBX add-ons such as ADIX, DINT, DPRA, and MAME.


• Experience integrating systems using REST APIs and supporting data migration activities.


• Knowledge of master data management principles, data governance, data quality, and match-and-merge capabilities.


• Experience working with Customer, Supplier, Finance, or Material master data domains.


• Experience developing integrations using AWS Glue and Python.


• Basic understanding of SAP or other ERP platforms and their master data processes.


• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and development tools such as Eclipse IDE or similar environments.


• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills.


• Demonstrated ability to work independently while effectively partnering with business and technical stakeholders.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Experience with TIBCO EBX 6.x environments.


• Experience leveraging GitHub Copilot or similar AI‑assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.


• Knowledge of Snowflake, including Time Travel functionality and historical data retrieval.


• Experience integrating Salesforce, SAP ECC, or similar enterprise platforms with MDM solutions.


• Exposure to manufacturing business processes and master data domains.


• Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, Python, and Power BI reporting solutions.


• Experience supporting enterprise‑scale digital transformation, data governance, or modernization initiatives.


• Ability to identify and implement opportunities that improve efficiency, data quality, and business value creation.
