Job summary

Magna International in Pune seeks a Senior Design Engineer to lead the design and validation of interior systems, ensuring structural performance, manufacturability and regulatory compliance. You will mentor junior engineers and collaborate across functions to deliver robust interior solutions ready for production.

The role requires an engineering degree (BE/DME) with 7–11 years of experience in mechanical/automobile domains, strong CAD skills (Catia V5), GD&T knowledge, and proficiency in

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and validation of Interior systems, ensuring structural performance, functional, manufacturability and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally, mentor junior engineers and drive innovation to deliver production-ready Interior solutions.
• Oversee concept development, detailed design, and integration of Interior Components / Modules such as Instrument Panel, Floor Console, Door Trim, Interior Trim.

Responsibilities/ task

• Lead the concept development, detailed design, and integration of Interior Components / Modules e.g. Instrument Panel / Floor Console / Door Trim / Interior Trim Hard and Soft Components etc.
