Job summary

Responsibilities include cable routing, instrument layout planning, 3D modelling with SP3D/PDMS/E3D, and meticulous documentation control. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Micro Station, and MS Office 365 is required to succeed.

Sr. Designer

An Instrumentation Designer will be responsible for developing detailed engineering designs, drawings, and documentation for instrumentation and control systems in projects. The role supports engineering teams by ensuring accurate design, compliance with standards, and integration with process and control requirements.

Responsibilities

• Cable routing and tray layouts
• Instrument location layouts
• Cable Tray supports modelling
• Support 3D modelling activities using tools like SP3D, PDMS, or E3D
• Ensure proper documentation and revision control of all design outputs
• Assist in material take-offs (MTO) and preparation of bill of materials
• Must have proven experience in Reading P & ID and prepare Instrument Index.
• SPI INTOOLS Index / Specifications / Hook up / Wring module
