This role involves designing electrical systems for the oil and gas or renewable energy sectors, including drafting in AutoCAD and preparing layouts. Candidates should have 5-8 years of relevant experience, excellent communication skills, and a diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering. They will work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality designs.

Qualifications

• 5 - 8 years of experience in Oil & Gas or industrial projects.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications.
• Good understanding of Electrical concepts and 3 phase power calculations.

Responsibilities

• Perform extensive drafting activities in AutoCAD/Microstation.
• Draft SLDs and schematics under engineers' guidance.
• Prepare electrical layouts considering inter-disciplinary interfaces.
• Model cable trays, light fixtures, and other electrical items in E3D/S3D environment.
• Utilize NavisWorks/Smartplant Review for review processes.

Summary Section

As part of the electrical engineering team you will be involved in the design of electrical systems for the oil and gas and/or power, including renewable energies industries. This may be a conceptual study or front‑end engineering design (FEED) or a design execution involving the procurement of all equipment and detailed drawings for the construction and commissioning of an entire facility.

Responsibilities

• Extensive drafting activities in AutoCAD/Microstation
• Draft SLDs and schematics with support of engineers
• Prepare electrical layouts with minimum guidance taking care of inter‑discipline interfaces
• Modeling of cable trays, light fixtures and other electrical items in E3D/S3D environment
• Use of review tools like NavisWorks/Smartplant Review

Qualifications Including Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Basic level of proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications specifically: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Word
• Diploma (Full Time) /Degree (Part Time) in Electrical Engineering
• Good understanding of Electrical concepts and 3 phase power calculations
• Good written and oral communication skills
• 5 - 8 years of experience in Oil & Gas / industrial projects
