Job summary

Saipem in India seeks an experienced Instrumentation Engineer with 5+ years to contribute to detailed engineering, 2D/3D drawings, and field instrumentation layouts.

You will prepare instrument cable routing, location layouts, junction box wiring, and participate in model reviews, coordinating with multiple disciplines to ensure compliant installations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of instrumentation design and drawings.
• Proficient in 2D/3D CAD tools and P&ID standards.
• Experience with installation drawings and cable routing.

Responsibilities

• Create instrument layouts and cable routing drawings.
• Prepare instrument location layouts and MCT allocation layouts.
• Generate loop drawings and JB wiring using SPI.
• Participate in model reviews and coordinate with other disciplines.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Skilled in instrumentation symbols and standard installation drawings.
• Proficient in 2D drafting (AutoCAD, MicroStation) and 3D modelling (S3D/SP3D/E3D).
• 3D modelling of Junction Boxes, Remote Instruments, F&G devices, Telecom instruments, Cable trays, Supports, and Cables.
• Prepare Instrument Cable Routing, Instrument Location Layout, Telecom Layout, and MCT Allocation Layout.
• Prepare cable cross-sections, cable tray sizing, and installation drawings.
• Generate loop drawings and JB wiring using SPI.
• Participate in model reviews and coordinate corrections with other disciplines.
