Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant branch

Job Type: Full Time

Job Location: Chakan, Pune

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of 3–4 design engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
• Possess all core skills required for a Design Engineer role, along with leadership capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project engineers, electrical engineers, and production teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
• Conduct tolerance analysis and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reviews.
• Evaluate and integrate feedback from shop floor, suppliers, and installation teams to improve design quality.
• Support prototype development, installation, commissioning, and testing of designed systems.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, design reports, and revision controls.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and company design guidelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to mechanical design during project execution.
• Strong proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or equivalent).
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead and manage a small design team effectively.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations.
