Job summary

You will refine worksheets, activities, assessments, and learning materials, ensure factual accuracy and readability, and coordinate with Content, Design, and Production teams to deliver high-quality resources.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive quality checks for books, workbooks, educational kits, TLMs, charts, flashcards, and digital resources.
• Validate content accuracy, facts, concepts, instructions, grammar, and language consistency.
• Review layouts, typography, images, spacing, and visual consistency; check print-ready files.
• Coordinate with Content, Design, Production, Project Management, and Vendor teams to resolve corrections and close issues.

Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance & Curriculum Designer to conduct comprehensive quality checks on educational products before release. This role covers content, design, curriculum, pedagogy, production, and overall product quality, while also supporting the creation of educational resources such as worksheets, activities, assessments, and learning materials.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong quality-control mindset, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to write and refine educational content with clarity and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance

• Conduct end-to-end quality checks for books, workbooks, educational kits, TLMs, charts, flashcards, and digital resources.
• Verify content accuracy, facts, concepts, answers, instructions, grammar, spelling, and language consistency.
• Validate worksheets, activities, assessments, answer keys, and learning outcomes.
• Identify factual, editorial, pedagogical, design, and production-related errors.

Design and Production Quality Checks

• Review layouts, typography, images, illustrations, spacing, alignment, page sequencing, and visual consistency.
• Check image quality, resolution, readability, and print suitability.
• Verify page count, size, components, packaging, inserts, and other product specifications.
• Review print-ready files and physical samples before final approval.
• Ensure compliance with project briefs, tender specifications, and production requirements.

Curriculum and Pedagogical Review

• Ensure content is age-appropriate, grade-appropriate, and pedagogically sound.
• Validate curriculum mapping, competencies, and learning outcomes.
• Check alignment with NEP, NCF, State Boards, CBSE, ICSE, and project-specific requirements, wherever applicable.

Content Creation and Refinement

• Create and refine age-appropriate educational content as required.
• Develop worksheets, activities, exercises, assessments, answer keys, instructions, and learning resources.
• Adapt or rewrite content to improve clarity, engagement, accuracy, and learning effectiveness.
• Support content development for books, kits, TLMs, charts, flashcards, and other educational products.

Digital and Cross-Functional Validation

• Validate QR codes, videos, audio, and other linked digital resources.
• Ensure consistency between physical and digital content.
• Coordinate with Content, Design, Production, Project Management, and Vendor teams to resolve corrections and close open issues.
• Maintain QC reports, error logs, checklists, and closure records.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, English, Publishing, Curriculum Development, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Strong proofreading, editing, and educational content-writing skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical ability.
• Good understanding of educational publishing and product-development workflows.
• Ability to review products from content, design, pedagogy, usability, and production perspectives.
• Strong documentation, coordination, and follow-up skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in educational publishing, curriculum development, textbook or workbook publishing, EdTech, educational kits, TLM development, or print production.
• Exposure to final product approvals, print-ready reviews, and government or tender-based educational projects will be an advantage.
