Job summary

JLL in Hyderabad, India, is seeking a Project Planner with strong planning and project controls experience to deliver schedule management, progress tracking, and KPI reporting for a large-scale mixed-use development with tunnels and road gyratory. Requires 4–7 years in construction, P6, Engineering degree (Civil/Mechanical), and fluency in English; Gulf experience

Role Purpose

We are looking for a Planner with Project Controls experience for our P&DS team. The role is primarily the delivery of project management services (Planning and controls) related to the schedule management, tracking, reporting, analysis sequencing/phasing, co-ordination and construction of the phased and timely delivery of a large-scale multi-asset mixed use development incorporating a significant tunnel and road gyratory.

What this job involves

• Maintaining the schedule baselines and ensure mechanisms are in place to monitor performance.
• Working closely with the client, sub consultants and main contractors.
• Review overall project status with the Project Management team and recommend corrective action where necessary.
• Use a clear, systematic approach to solving complex issues and able to communicate solutions in an effective, efficient, high-level manner.
• Coordinating and managing multiple stakeholders and demonstrate the ability to build relationships.
• Establish project planning process and procedure to include within the PEP (Project Execution Plan)
• Assure integration of sub-schedules from all parties (functions, subdivisions) involved in the projects.
• Tracks and reports progress against the baseline schedule and continuously monitors risks and opportunities as well as proactively develops scenarios, mitigation or back-up plans required.
• Report on schedule progress inclusive of contractual spend utilising reporting metrics implementing EV (earned value) and PV (planned value) and deviations within all functions and parties involved in the project
• Creating dashboard and follow-up trackers
• The Project Planner produces schedule-related KPI's as required by the project.
• Lead meetings related to the schedule and its associated process and procedure
• Manage, with the support of all Project Team members, the effective communication to all functions of their duties and responsibilities in the execution of the schedule.

Qualifications / Experience

• Proficient in usage of Power Query (Must Have)
• Knowledge of Power BI (Good to Have)
• Knowledge of time impact analysis (Good to Have)
• P6 trained with strong skills utilising this software (Mandatory)
• Engineering Degree Qualification is Mandatory (Civil/Mechanical)
• Project Management certification is preferred (Good to Have) e.g. PMP, RMP, SP (Schedule professional)
• Experience of at least 4 to 7 years of experience in construction industry
• Major international project experience in Gulf is preferred
• Must have experience in mixed use projects e.g. retail, residential, commercial etc.
• P6 experience is good to have
• Excellent written and verbal skills with a fluent proficiency in English.
