Job summary

JLL in Bengaluru on-site is seeking an experienced Project Planner to lead planning, scheduling and documentation for large interior fit-out projects. You will develop detailed plans, track progress, and coordinate across designers, contractors and vendors to keep milestones on track.

The role requires strong command of Primavera P6 or MS Project, AutoCAD familiarity, and a proven ability to manage multiple projects with strict attention to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Scheduling

• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines for interior fit-out projects from inception to completion
• Create and maintain critical path schedules using industry-standard planning software
• Monitor project progress against established baselines and identify potential delays or conflicts
• Coordinate scheduling across multiple trades and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare comprehensive project documentation including method statements, progress reports, and as-built records
• Maintain accurate records of project milestones, deliverables, and key decisions
• Generate regular status reports for senior management and clients
• Ensure all documentation complies with project requirements and quality standards

Project Coordination

• Collaborate with design teams, contractors, and vendors to align project deliverables
• Conduct regular site visits to verify progress and identify planning discrepancies
• Facilitate coordination meetings with all project stakeholders
• Support project managers in resource allocation and procurement planning

Risk Management

• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Track and manage project changes, ensuring proper documentation and approval processes
• Monitor compliance with safety regulations and quality standards

Required Qualifications

Experience

• Minimum 6 years of proven experience in planning and documentation for interior fit-out projects
• Demonstrated track record of successfully managing projects of at least 100,000 square feet
• Experience with commercial, corporate, retail, or hospitality fit-out projects preferred

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in project planning software (Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of interior fit-out construction processes, trades sequencing, and coordination
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or other design documentation software
• Competent in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Experience with BIM coordination and clash detection
• Knowledge of local building codes and fit-out regulations
