  • Assess complex or non-standard provisions, including termination and cancellation rights, variable consideration, liquidated damages, acceptance clauses, warranties, payment terms, significant financing, principal-versus-agent considerations, and contract modifications.
  • Evaluate project accounting implications, including point-in-time versus over-time recognition, measures of progress, contract costs, change orders, unbilled receivables, advances, loss provisions, and other judgmental matters.
  • Prepare and review revenue recognition checklists, technical accounting memo, white papers, consultation documentation, and clearly supported accounting conclusions.
  • Partner with Finance, Legal, Commercial, Project Management, and business teams before contract execution to interpret key provisions, identify accounting risks, and recommend practical contract language or mitigating actions.

  • Administer accounting policies, coordinate significant or unusual matters with regional, SBU, SBG, and Corporate Controllership teams.
  • Ensure contract-review processes and related internal controls are consistently executed, supported by sufficient evidence, and retained in accordance with governance requirements.
  • Identify control or process gaps, support corrective action plans, monitor remediation, and drive standardization, automation, and continuous improvement in the contract-review process.
  • Support monthly and quarterly close activities by resolving contract-related accounting matters and reviewing significant judgments, journal entries, balance-sheet impacts, and disclosure considerations.
  • Support internal and external audits, respond to technical accounting inquiries, and assist Controllership and Finance with special projects and emerging business models.
Basic Qualifications:
