Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsiga).
  • Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Project, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • PMI-SP or Cost Engineering Certification preferred.
  • 5+ years in Project Controls and project management processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop project control plan, WBS, cost budget and schedule baselines to measure performance.
  • Analyze project performance via cost and schedule integration and variances.
  • Prepare and publish metrics and financial reports for stakeholders.
  • Support forecasting, reviews, and monthly progress reporting to customers.
  • Apply Earned Value Management techniques to projects/programs.
  • Assist with Change, Risk and EAC Management on assigned projects.
  • Ensure effective communication and partner with internal/external project teams.
  • Monitor and report compliance with GPMO requirements and SOX controls.

Responsibilities

Join a team of specialists that provide program analysis, process improvement, and metrics for Honeywell. You will partner with Integrated project team to develop project plans and create cost and schedule baselines. You will prepare and publish metrics and reports. You will analyze variances and review compliance to corporate guidelines across multiple teams. Your findings will drive decisions to improve the project/program performance impacting one or more site locations.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assist to develop project control plan, WBS, cost budget and schedule baselines to measure project performance and success through KPI's
  • Analyze project performance through cost and schedule integration. Analyze the unbilled, receivable, and payable balances on assigned projects.
  • Analyze cost and schedule variance versus baseline. Identify root cause and recommend corrective actions
  • Prepare and publish metrics and financial reports
  • Support Project Forecasting, Project Reviews, Monthly Progress Reporting to Internal/External Customers
  • Apply EVM (Earned Value Management) techniques to Project/Program
  • Assist with Change, Risk and EAC Management on assigned projects/programs
  • Ensure effective communication and partner with the Project Team (internal/external) to build relationships
  • Monitor and Report Compliance as per GPMO requirements
  • Support compliance with relevant SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) controls
  • Assist in internal improvement processes
Qualifications

You Must Have:

  • 5+ years’ experience in Project Controls.
General

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or Accounting
  • Working knowledge with project management processes (i.e., cost, EVM (Earned Value Management), schedule, baseline development, assigning time phased resources and budgets to work scope, performance measurements, etc.)
  • Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience
  • Ability to work in a large and diverse team in a matrix work environment.
  • User experience of ERP system (SAP, Oracle, Microsiga)
  • Proficient Microsoft Office package skills e.g., Excel, Project, Outlook, PowerPoint etc.
  • Experience with financial data compilation, analysis, and metrics management.
  • Experience in usage of Earned Value Metrics, Estimate at completion growth and Milestone Fidelity.
  • Project Management, Project Schedule Professional (PMI-SP), or Cost Engineering Certification
  • Able to be flexible and think outside the box
  • Bi/Multi-lingual
SBG Specific
  • Experience in EcoSys, Cora, or other PMIS (Project Management Information System)
  • Experience in MS Project and/or Primavera P6.
  • Cost Reporting Experience: CPR, IPMR, IPMDAR, CFSR
  • Integrated Master Schedule Experience: Microsoft Project, SSI Tool
