Job summary

Darwinbox is seeking a Payroll Implementation Senior Consultant to drive payroll configurations, testing, UAT, and go-live support for enterprise clients across India, SEA and MENA. You will work with Solution Architect and implementation teams to deliver accurate, compliant payroll solutions.

The role requires 5–10 years in payroll implementation or consulting, hands-on configuration, strong analytics, and communication.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in payroll implementation, payroll consulting or payroll technology.
• Experience in payroll implementation/configuration in India, SEA or MENA; multi-country exposure preferred.
• Hands-on experience in payroll system configuration and reconciliation.
• Strong experience in UAT, parallel payroll and payroll calculations.

Responsibilities

• Review the approved Solution Document and coordinate with the Solution Architect for required data and inputs.
• Configure payroll based on client processes and statutory requirements.
• Execute SIT, UAT, parallel payroll runs and payroll reconciliation.
• Identify and resolve configuration, calculation and payroll processing issues.
• Coordinate with clients for configuration validation, UAT, issue resolution and payroll sign-off.
• Conduct configuration and solution walkthroughs with clients and internal teams.
• Coordinate with Product, Engineering, QA and Integration teams for defects and enhancements.
• Support payroll go-live, hypercare and critical payroll cycles.
• Execute test scenarios and prepare test results and reconciliation summaries.
• Ensure payroll configuration and implementation deliverables are accurate and compliant within timelines.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Payroll Implementation Senior Consultant with strong payroll domain and implementation experience to execute payroll implementations for enterprise clients across India, SEA and MENA.

The role primarily involves payroll configuration, testing, UAT, parallel payroll, reconciliation, client coordination and go-live support, working closely with the Solution Architect and implementation teams.

• Execute test scenarios and prepare test results and reconciliation summaries.
• Ensure payroll configuration and implementation deliverables are accurate, compliant and completed within agreed timelines.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in payroll implementation, payroll consulting or payroll technology.
• Must have payroll implementation/configuration experience in at least one of the following regions: India, SEA or MENA. Experience working across 2–3 countries is preferred.
• Hands-on experience in payroll system configuration.
• Strong experience in UAT, parallel payroll and payroll reconciliation.
• Good understanding of payroll statutory compliance and payroll calculations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Advanced Excel skills are an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, HR or a related field.

• Experience working on multi-country payroll implementation projects.
