Job summary

Genpact in India is seeking a Sr. Consultant – Enterprise Application (Oracle) to lead Workday HCM project activities and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to design, configure, test, and deploy solutions.

You will translate client requirements into system configurations, manage risks, and ensure on-time delivery in a fast-paced environment. The role requires strong collaboration, client-facing skills, and hands-on experience with Oracle and related tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
• Master's degree in Software Engineering is a plus.
• Oracle Cloud certification is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to gather requirements and document critical decisions.
• Manage the entire project lifecycle from planning and design through testing and deployment.
• Translate client requirements into Workday configurations for HCM or other modules.
• Work with clients to analyze and document problems, recommend solutions, and initiate corrective actions.
• Prepare test scenarios and cases and execute in testing cycles.
• Guide clients during testing cycles and prototype development.
• Coach and mentor new and junior consultants in best practices.
• Contribute to both implementation and post-production support projects.
• Manage multiple parallel projects with strong organizational skills.
• Communicate clearly and concisely and collaborate within teams.
• Innovate and deploy Workday efficiently; perform design validation and process improvements.
• Prepare training materials and SOPs for Workday processes, and conduct workshops.
