Job summary

Stefanini North America and APAC seeks a Senior Cloud Infrastructure / DevOps Engineer (GCP & Azure) to design, automate, and run enterprise cloud infra across GCP and Azure. You will implement IaC with Terraform, build CI/CD using Harness and Jenkins, and lead cloud migrations and landing zone deployments.

You will also secure networking, DR planning, and cost optimization while collaborating with security and development teams to deliver reliable cloud solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in Cloud Infra, DevOps, or Platform Engineering.
• Strong hands-on with GCP; exposure to Azure.
• Expertise in Terraform, IaC, and cloud automation.
• Experience with Harness, GitHub, Jenkins, CI/CD automation.
• Knowledge of GKE, App Engine, Compute Engine, IAM, Networking.
• Experience with Azure VMs, Storage, Networking, IAM, Monitoring.

Senior Cloud Infrastructure / DevOps Engineer (GCP & Azure)

Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) along with experience in Azure cloud services, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), CI/CD, and cloud automation. The candidate will play a critical role in designing, automating, optimizing, and managing enterprise cloud infrastructure while ensuring high availability, security, scalability, and operational excellence. This role requires hands-on expertise in cloud infrastructure management, cloud migrations, landing zone implementations, DevOps practices, automation, networking, disaster recovery, and cloud governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure across GCP and Azure environments.
• Develop Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and recommend cloud-native solutions to meet business and technical requirements.
• Build, automate, and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform, GitHub, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Harness , GitHub, Jenkins, and other DevOps tools.
• Support and execute cloud migration initiatives, landing zone deployments, and environment modernization projects.
• Manage and troubleshoot cloud networking components including VPC/VNet, Load Balancers, DNS, VPN, Routing, Firewalls, and Hybrid Connectivity.
• Implement and maintain Disaster Recovery (DR), Backup & Recovery, Business Continuity, and High Availability solutions.
• Automate operational processes, monitoring, provisioning, and deployment activities to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Monitor infrastructure health, availability, performance, security, and cloud cost optimization.
• Collaborate with development, platform, and security teams to deliver reliable and secure cloud solutions.
• Provide L3 support, perform root cause analysis, and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, standards, and operational procedures.

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, or Platform Engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and exposure to Microsoft Azure services.
• Expertise in Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cloud automation.
• Experience with Harness , GitHub, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.
• Strong knowledge of GCP services including GKE, Cloud Functions, App Engine, Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, IAM, Monitoring, and Networking Services.
• Experience with Azure services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking, Load Balancers, Virtual Networks, IAM, and Azure Monitoring.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes (GKE/AKS).
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, governance, and landing zone architecture.
• Experience with cloud migration projects, backup solutions, and disaster recovery planning.
• Hands-on scripting experience using PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as New Relic, Nagios, Cloud Monitoring, Azure Monitor, or similar.
• Familiarity with GitOps, Agile methodologies, and DevOps best practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• GCP Certification (Professional Cloud Architect / Professional Cloud Engineer) preferred.
• Microsoft Azure certifications (AZ-104/AZ-305) are a plus.
• Experience with enterprise-scale cloud transformations and multi-cloud environments.
• Terraform Certification or advanced Terraform implementation experience.
• Experience implementing cloud governance, security frameworks, and cost optimization strategies.
• Exposure to enterprise scheduling and automation tools such as Rundeck, ActiveBatch, and AppWorks.
