Haskoning is seeking a qualified Civil Site Supervisor to lead on-site supervision of utility and civil infrastructure works in Roha, Raigad. You will review drawings, ITPs and QA/QC plans, verify setting out and interfaces, monitor safety, quality, and progress, and coordinate with EPC contractors, consultants, and client representatives.
The role requires a Bachelor's in civil engineering with 15+ years of experience in large infrastructure projects, and strong English and Hindi/Marathi

1. Supervise and monitor execution of utility and civil infrastructure works undertaken by the EPC Contractor to ensure compliance with approved drawings and contract requirements for specifications, scope, quality, health and safety at site.
2. Review construction methodologies, work procedures, resource deployment plans, and site execution strategies and provide technical comments and recommendations. Also, review and monitor implementation of approved Method Statements, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Quality Plans, and construction procedures. Identify constructability issues, interface conflicts, site constraints, and design discrepancies and coordinate their resolution with stakeholders.
3. Review contractor submissions, including GFC drawings, shop drawings, technical proposals, testing records, and quality documentation.
4. Verify setting out, alignment, levels, grades, dimensions, and interfaces between utility networks and adjacent infrastructure. Conduct regular site inspections and surveillance to verify workmanship, construction quality, progress, and compliance with approved standards.
5. Monitor construction of Utilities like water distribution systems, sewerage networks, stormwater drainage systems, power distribution corridors, utility crossings, and underground utility infrastructure. Also, supervise construction of GLSRs, ESRs, pump houses, substations, utility buildings, and other associated civil structures.
6. Critically review ongoing construction activities, identify deficiencies, deviations, and non-conformities, and recommend corrective and preventive actions. Review contractor resource deployment, construction planning, and work fronts to ensure efficient project execution.
7. Witness inspections, testing, and commissioning activities for utility networks, reservoirs, structures, and associated infrastructure.
8. Monitor project progress, identify delays and risks, and recommend corrective measures to support timely project delivery.
9. Coordinate with EPC contractors, consultants, utility agencies, and Client representatives to ensure effective execution and compliance.
10. Prepare site supervision reports, technical review comments, compliance assessments, and progress reports, and advise the PMC and Client on technical, quality, and construction-related matters.

Qualification & Skills Requirement:
1. Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
2. Ability to review engineering drawings, utility layouts, technical specifications, construction methodologies, and contractor submissions.
3. Sound understanding of QA/QC procedures, inspection requirements, construction standards, and applicable codes such as BIS, IRC, MoRTH, CPHEEO, and NBC
4. Good communication skills in English and Hindi/Marathi.
Experience Requirement:
1. Minimum 15 years of professional experience in construction, testing, and commissioning of utility infrastructure.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior role with a PMC, Owner's Engineer or EPC Contractor on large infrastructure or industrial development projects.
3. Demonstrated experience in construction and supervision of water distribution systems, sewerage networks, stormwater drainage systems, power distribution infrastructure, and utility corridors. Also, in GLSRs, ESRs, pump houses, substations, utility buildings, and reinforced concrete structures.
