Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive seeks an experienced SAP QM/PP Senior Specialist to drive design, implementation, and improvements of Quality and Production processes. You will bridge business stakeholders and IT, optimizing Quality, Batch Management, and Batch Traceability for global operations.

Responsibilities include leading testing, data governance, and interfaces while collaborating across functions. Hybrid work with travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing SAP QM/PP with quality management and batch traceability.
• Hands-on configuration of QM, Batch Management and Ship under Quality.
• Interest in learning SAP PLM or LIMS.
• Knowledge of traceability reports and QM tables.
• ABAP basics for debugging is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize Quality Management, Batch Management, and Batch traceability.
• Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains.
• Define master data governance and interface with third parties (EDI/IDoc).
• Lead testing, cutover, hypercare and knowledge transfer.

Role Summary/Purpose:

This role needs an experienced SAP QM(Quality Management ) and PP( Production Execution) Business Specialist / Sr Business Specialist to drive the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of our Quality and Production processes. In this role, Specialist will act as a crucial bridge between business stakeholders and IT, leveraging deep expertise in SAP QM and PP. The Specialist will play a pivotal role in optimizing Quality, Batch Management, Batch Traceability processes to support global operational goals.

Responsibilities:

Analyze and provide solutions to complex system or process within Quality Management , Batch Management , Ship under Quality , Batch traceability , Material Shelf life, SAP MOC to align with regulatory standards and Internal SOPs

Identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency gains.

Define and manage master data governance , Integration touchpoints and interfaces/EDI/IDoc flows with third parties ensuring data quality, controls, and compliance.

Lead testing (unit, integration, UAT), cutover, hypercare, and knowledge transfer; establish SOPs, training, and change management to sustain standardized global processes and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering

3-5 years of experience implementing and supporting SAP QM/PP including hands‑on configuration of Quality Management , Batch Management , Ship under Quality , Batch traceability , Material Shelf life

Desire to learn and develop a career in other Quality related applications like PLM (Product life cycle management, LIMS.

Thorough knowledge of traceability reports , COA, QM tables , shop floor QM integration is necessary

SAP ABAP basic understanding / debugging is an added advantage.

Strong business acumen with the ability to translate Global Quality objectives into system design

High learning agility with excellent communication and stakeholder management; proficient in writing functional specs and collaborating with technical teams (e.g., ABAP/Integration) for extensions and interfaces.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong desire to expand knowledge of SAP applications on a functional / technical level.

Project leadership experience in global, cross-functional environments using Agile/Hybrid delivery methodologies.

Prior experience in SAP PLM or LIMS is a strong plus.

Strong oral & written communication skills with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms and business needs in technical specifications
