Qualifications

• Master’s or similar degree in computer science, engineering, business information technologies or related fields.
• Over 8 years of deep technical mastery in SAP ABAP engineering, including ABAP on HANA, OO principles and modern environments (7.4/7.5+).
• Practical experience implementing modern ABAP Cloud development models such as RAP/CDS, alongside Fiori and UI5 technologies.
• Proficiency in development environments like ABAP Development Tools (ADT) in Eclipse.
• Comprehensive knowledge of OData, RFCs, BAPIs, and IDOCs, with the insight to transition from legacy interfaces to API-first integration strategies.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support tailored SAP S/4HANA ABAP solutions aligned with Clean Core principles.
• Develop cloud-ready extensions through RAP/CDS and OData, ensuring compatibility during upgrades and optimizing performance.
• Proactively explore, prototype, and implement modern frameworks, cloud deployment architectures and next-gen features (SAP BTP, Edge Integration Cell, hybrid cloud).
• Create and maintain RICEFW objects using ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, and AMDP; extend with RAP/CDS for Clean Core compliance.
• Collaborate with functional teams to design technical solutions and support daily business requirements per SLA.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and provide production support; perform code reviews and maintain high-quality documentation.

Brief introduction:

We are looking for an individual who can design, construct, and support tailored SAP S/4HANA solutions aligned with Clean Core principles.

Principal duties involve building cloud-ready extensions through RESTful ABAP Programming (RAP/CDS) and OData, all while guaranteeing system compatibility during upgrades and optimizing overall performance.

Responsibilities:

Proactively explore, prototype, and implement modern frameworks, cloud deployment architectures, and next-generation features utilizing SAP BTP, SAP Edge Integration Cell, or hybrid cloud environments.

Develop, enhance, and maintain RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms, Workflows) using ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, and AMDP.

Implement extensions using modern ABAP Cloud development models (RAP/CDS) to ensure Clean Core compliance.

Create OData services and APIs for seamless integration with SAP BTP or external systems.

Design technical solutions in partnership with the functional team and the business.

Support daily business requirements in alignment with the global Service Level Agreement (SLA).

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues within the Private Cloud environment / S/4HANA, providing technical support.

Perform code reviews, optimize ABAP code for better performance, and maintain high standards for technical documentation.

Ensure the reliability of production systems by adhering to IT standards and governance processes.

Ability to leverage AI-driven development capabilities and generative coding assistants to accelerate unit testing, code interpretation, and overall delivery speed.

Partner with technical teams on innovative "Explore and Exploit" workstreams, creating prototypes for emerging tech and scaling proven AI-enhanced development methodologies across the organization.

Required Qualifications:

Over 8 years of deep technical mastery in SAP ABAP engineering, including expertise in ABAP on HANA, object-oriented principles, and modern environments (7.4/7.5+).

Proficiency in utilized development environments like ABAP Development Tools (ADT) in Eclipse.

Comprehensive knowledge of OData, RFCs, BAPIs, and IDOCs, with the insight to transition from legacy interfaces to API-first integration strategies.
