The role involves frequent site visits across India with travel to client locations; BOM/architecture preparation and ERP interactions are essential; BE/BTech in Electrical/Instrumentation and 2–5 years in Industrial Automation are required.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech or Diploma with Electrical/Instrumentation/Control background.
• 2–5 years experience in Industrial Automation applications.

Responsibilities

• Programming PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems.
• Para metering of AC VFDs and AC servo drives.
• Understand customer requirements for automation and control.
• Select automation and related products to meet control needs.
• Prepare BOM and system architecture.
• Design control panels using Electrical CAD (EPLAN).
• Supervise wiring between control panel and machine.
• Test and commission complete systems.
• Troubleshoot control panels.
• Work on ERP system procedures.
• Frequent client-site visits across locations; travel is integral.

Job description

Designation: Sr. Automation Engineer

Job Responsibility

• 1) Programming of PLCs, HMIs, SCADA Systems
• 2) Para metering of AC VFDs and AC Servo Drives
• 3) Understand Customer’s requirements of machine / plant automation and control
• 4) Select suitable automation, electrical, and other related products to suit control requirements
• 5) Prepare BOM and System Architecture from selected products.
• 6) Designing of Control Panels using Electrical CAD Software (like EPLAN)
• 7) Supervise wiring between control panel and machine / plant
• 8) Perform testing and commissioning of complete system
• 9) Troubleshooting of control panels
• 10) Perform organizational working procedure on ERP System
• 11) The role requires frequent visits to client sites for project-related work, which may include locations within Ahmedabad, within the state, across the country, and occasionally overseas. Working hours may vary based on project and site requirements. Travel is an integral part of the job profile; therefore, no additional overtime compensation is applicable for this position.
