Job summary

Carrier is seeking a Sr Associate (SAP Ariba Support) to provide Level 2 escalation support for SAP Ariba modules from Hyderabad or Bangalore. This full-time role focuses on troubleshooting complex issues, configuring Ariba solutions, and maintaining integrations with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC.

You will manage incidents and changes within SLAs, coordinate with SAP Ariba support, assist with supplier enablement, and contribute to releases, rollouts, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Level 2 escalation support for SAP Ariba modules (e.g., Ariba Buying & Invoicing, Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier Lifecycle & Performance, and Ariba Network), resolving issues escalated from the Level 1 service desk.
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve complex functional and technical issues, including workflow errors, approval flow failures, integration faults, and master data discrepancies.
• Develop, configure, and maintain Ariba solutions, including custom forms, approval workflows, catalog management, and business rules.
• Support and monitor integrations between Ariba and ERP systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA / SAP ECC) via CIG (Cloud Integration Gateway), middleware, or APIs; investigate and resolve integration failures.
• Manage incident, service request, and change tickets in the ITSM tool within defined SLAs; document root causes and resolutions.
• Coordinate with SAP Ariba support (raising and managing SAP cases) for issues requiring vendor intervention.
• Support Ariba quarterly release cycles: review release notes, assess impacts, perform regression testing, and communicate changes to stakeholders.
• Assist with supplier enablement, catalog loads, and Ariba Network transaction issues.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and runbooks; provide guidance and knowledge transfer to Level 1 support staff.
• Participate in enhancement projects, system upgrades, and rollouts, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and deployment support.
• Ensure compliance with change management, security, and audit requirements.
