Ideal candidates possess 1–3 years of transcription experience, strong English listening and typing skills, and knowledge of insurance terminology. Bachelor’s degree is required; MBA/Insurance & Risk Management specialization is a plus.

Qualifications

Description

• We are seeking a detail-oriented Transcriptionist to accurately transcribe audio recordings dictated by property and casualty insurance claims adjusters and other stakeholders into written statements and reports. The ideal candidate will have strong listening skills, knowledge of property and casualty insurance terminology, and a high level of accuracy while maintaining strict client data confidentiality.
• Reporting to management or the file supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the accurate and structured transcription of audio files in English (insureds’ statements, adjusters’ notes, investigation reports, recorded interviews) into clear, precise written documents that comply with the firm’s standards.
