Job summary

Davies in Pune is seeking a detail-oriented Transcriptionist to convert audio recordings from property and casualty insurance claims into written statements and reports. You will ensure accuracy, maintain confidentiality, and meet internal standards.

The role requires excellent English listening, typing, and proofreading skills, 60+ WPM, and 1–3 years of experience in insurance transcription or related fields. A Bachelor's degree is required; MBA or related specialization is preferred.

• We are seeking a detail-oriented Transcriptionist to accurately transcribe audio recordings dictated by property and casualty insurance claims adjusters and other stakeholders into written statements and reports. The ideal candidate will have strong listening skills, knowledge of property and casualty insurance terminology, and a high level of accuracy while maintaining strict client data confidentiality.
• Reporting to management or the file supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for the accurate and structured transcription of audio files in English (insureds’ statements, adjusters’ notes, investigation reports, recorded interviews) into clear, precise written documents that comply with the firm’s standards.
