Job summary

Genpact in India seeks a Sr. Associate - F&A (I2C) to manage AR/ cash application and related processes. The role involves handling collections, remittances, ageing, and SOP updates within a dynamic, AI-driven environment.

You will collaborate across AR teams, ensure accurate DRR, and support client inquiries while advancing your expertise in finance operations. Evening shift in India supports global business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in finance/accounting fields required.
• Strong knowledge of AR processes and cash application.
• Experience with SAP AR/ARM is a plus.
• Familiarity with invoices, remittances and DRR.
• Certification in Accounts Payable or CAMS advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Make collection calls to customers and process invoices as requested.
• Understand cash allocations and remittances with reporting.
• Allocate cash payments per remittance details.
• Coordinate AR across multiple entities and track ageing.
• Serve as subject matter expert for AR processes; real estate client preferred.
• Create/update SOPs and other process docs.
• Handle client queries and information requests.
• Identify unidentified cash and manage end-to-end cash applications.
• Process cash applications to invoices, ensure DRR is timely and accurate.
• Follow up on disputes and collaborate across departments for resolution.
• Reconcile orders with customer books and validate credits/debits.

Job Description

• Making collection calls to the customers, emailing/faxing invoices or getting hard copies mailed out to customers as per their requests.


• Understanding of all aspects of Cash allocation in accordance with customer remittances including deep validation experience and report out to business.


• Cash Application Allocating payments in accordance with customer remittances.


• Collaborating closely between all entities of AR (different entities) and keep track of all aged receivables including current ageing buckets.


• Act as Subject Matter Specialist for the AR processes, complete know-how and understanding of the AR value chain. Experience of working with a real estate client will be a preference.


• Create and update the Standard Operations Procedure and other updates received from time to time.


• Should be able to deal with clients for any query or information.


• Identify and resolve unidentified cash and manage end to end process of Cash applications.


• Process cash application functions to invoices at assigned sites ensuring the DRR (Daily Receipt Reconciliation) is completed in a timely, accurate, and confidential manner.


• Follow up on customer/internal disputes, customer questions and working between departments to get a resolution.


• Reconcile orders to match customer books, including validating credits or debits and sending them to customer for collection or refund
