Genpact in India is seeking a Sr. Associate - F&A for I2C to lead end-to-end AR processes, cash allocation, and dispute resolution across entities. The role emphasizes accuracy, collaboration with multiple departments, and adherence to SOPs.

The candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, AR/AP experience, and knowledge of SAP. English proficiency is required with a formal night shift in India.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance
• Master's degree in Finance preferred

Responsabilidades

• Making collection calls to customers and emailing/invoicing per requests
• Understand cash allocation with remittances and perform deep validation
• Cash application: allocate payments per remittances
• Coordinate AR across entities and track ageing
• Act as SME for AR processes and know the AR value chain
• Experience with real estate client is a plus
• Create/update SOPs and other updates as needed
• Deal with clients for queries and information
• Identify and resolve unidentified cash and manage end-to-end cash applications
• Follow up on disputes and coordinate across departments for resolution
• Reconcile orders with customer books and send credits/debits for collections or refunds

Job Description

• Making collection calls to the customers, emailing/faxing invoices or getting hard copies mailed out to customers as per their requests.
• Understanding of all aspects of Cash allocation in accordance with customer remittances including deep validation experience and report out to business.
• Cash Application Allocating payments in accordance with customer remittances.
• Collaborating closely between all entities of AR (different entities) and keep track of all aged receivables including current ageing buckets.
• Act as Subject Matter Specialist for the AR processes, complete know-how and understanding of the AR value chain.
• Experience of working with a real estate client will be a preference.
• Create and update the Standard Operations Procedure and other updates received from time to time.
• Should be able to deal with clients for any query or information.
• Identify and resolve unidentified cash and manage end to end process of Cash applications.
• Process cash application functions to invoices at assigned sites ensuring the DRR (Daily Receipt Reconciliation) is completed in a timely, accurate, and confidential manner.
• Follow up on customer/internal disputes, customer questions and working between departments to get a resolution.
• Reconcile orders to match customer books, including validating credits or debits and sending them to customer for collection or refund.
