Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Sr. Associate - F&A for I2C in India. The role focuses on cash collection, AR processes, and reconciliation across multiple entities, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and timely delivery.

The candidate will manage end-to-end cash applications, resolve disputes, and contribute to SOPs and process improvements in a fast-moving AI-enabled environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance required.
• Masters in Finance preferred for advanced roles.

Responsibilities

• Make collection calls to customers and email/fax invoices as requested.
• Understand cash allocation and AR remittances with deep validation.
• Cash application: allocate payments per remittances for AR value chain.
• Collaborate across AR entities and track aged receivables.
• Prepare and update SOPs and related AR process updates.
• Handle client queries and disputes; work with departments to resolve.
• Reconcile orders to customer books; validate credits/debits for collections.

Job Description

Making collection calls to the customers, emailing/faxing invoices or getting hard copies mailed out to customers as per their requests. Understanding of all aspects of Cash allocation in accordance with customer remittances including deep validation experience and report out to business. Cash Application Allocating payments in accordance with customer remittances. Collaborating closely between all entities of AR (different entities) and keep track of all aged receivables including current ageing buckets. Act as Subject Matter Specialist for the AR processes, complete know-how and understanding of the AR value chain. Experience of working with a real estate client will be a preference. Create and update the Standard Operations Procedure and other updates received from time to time. Should be able to deal with clients for any query or information. Identify and resolve unidentified cash and manage end to end process of Cash applications. Process cash application functions to invoices at assigned sites ensuring the DRR (Daily Receipt Reconciliation) is completed in a timely, accurate, and confidential manner. Follow up on customer/internal disputes, customer questions and working between departments to get a resolution. Reconcile orders to match customer books, including validating credits or debits and sending them to customer for collection or refund
