About the role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive professional to join our Family Office team in the Accounts Operations function. The role will involve managing personal accounting, investment operations, banking activities, and compliance requirements across multiple family members and accounts.

The ideal candidate should have strong accounting and operational skills, preferably with experience in a promoter-driven business, family office, wealth management, or investment environment, along with a basic understanding of capital-market products and investment operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting MIS

• Maintain accurate personal accounting records for all family members.
• Prepare, maintain, and regularly update personal MIS and financial reports.
• Record and update daily investment transactions and related financial activities.
• Review bank balances and monitor fund availability across multiple accounts.

Investment Capital Market Operations

• Execute stock-market transactions across multiple demat accounts.
• Coordinate investments based on available balances and investment requirements.
• Monitor MTF settlements, OD repayments, and pledging/unpledging of shares.
• Conduct daily demat-balance checks and identify surplus or unplanned funds for withdrawal.
• Manage off-market transfers of securities.
• Coordinate the dematerialisation of physical share certificates.
• Support the execution and documentation of private investments.

Banking Personal Financial Operations

• Process personal payments, including utility bills, insurance premiums, mediclaim payments, and other financial obligations.
• Manage personal credit-card-related activities and ensure timely settlements.
• Coordinate fund transfers and other banking-related operational requirements.

KYC Compliance

• Complete KYC and re-KYC requirements for demat and bank accounts.
• Coordinate the opening of new bank and demat accounts, including documentation, KYC, compliance, and agreement execution.
• Ensure timely completion of documentation and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain proper records and ensure end-to-end compliance for investment and account-related activities.

Candidate Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance operations, investment operations, or a similar function.
• Experience in a promoter-driven business, family office, wealth management, or investment environment will be preferred.
• M.Com or MBA qualification.
• Basic understanding of capital-market products, equity investments, demat accounts, and investment operations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial information.
• Good understanding of accounting and financial documentation.
• Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts, transactions, and operational activities simultaneously.
• High level of confidentiality and integrity while handling sensitive financial and personal information.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
