Job Description

We are looking for an Associate RPA Developer with 2+ years of hands-on experience in UiPath-based automation development. The candidate will support the design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of robotic process automation solutions. This role requires strong analytical ability, good programming discipline, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with business, operations, and IT teams.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze business requirements, process documents, and workflow details to assist in designing implementable technical solutions.
  • Develop, configure, and maintain automation workflows using the UiPath RPA platform.
  • Build automation solutions that mimic user actions across desktop applications, web applications, Excel files, databases, office documents, and APIs, based on project needs.
  • Support development using UiPath best practices, coding standards, naming conventions, and exception handling principles.
  • Monitor Bot execution, troubleshoot runtime issues, analyze logs, and help resolve production defects.
  • Develop and improve error handling, logging, retry mechanisms, and notification frameworks to improve Bot stability.
  • Maintain and enhance existing RPA solutions to improve code quality, reliability, maintainability, and robot efficiency.
  • Participate in robot deployment activities by following standard change management and release processes.
  • Stay updated on UiPath features, AI integration in RPA, Document Understanding, AI Center, and Action Center concepts.
  • Support automation projects by preparing technical design documents, process workflow documentation, release notes, test evidence, and maintenance documents.
  • Create and execute unit test cases, scenario-based test cases, and support end-to-end testing before production release.
  • Participate in QA testing, integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing activities.
  • Communicate development progress, risks, issues, and blockers to project leads, senior developers, and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with business users, Operations teams, and IT teams to understand automation requirements and support delivery of RPA solutions.
Support
  • Understanding system and business change cycles to ensure automated processes are proactively amended to reflect changes.
  • Developing strategies to optimize Bot schedules to achieve maximum productivity of digital workers.
  • Investigate automation failures, application changes, selector issues, credential problems, data issues, and environmental issues.

Education and Experience Level
  • 2+ year experience in UiPath, familiar with common types of automations: Excel, website, database, restful API. Experience in ReFramework.
  • Ability to read and understand process design documents, solution design documents, and business process workflows.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to analyze requirements and come up with potential solutions in a timely manner.
  • Exposure to UiPath Document Understanding, AI Center, and Action Center will be preferred.
  • Good debugging and troubleshooting skills using logs, screenshots, error messages, and application behavior
  • Excellent communication skills in both written & verbal English (and have worked in global/multicultural environment). Ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders as part of the RPA delivery cycle.
  • Prior functional experience in SDLC, Waterfall, and Agile development methodologies including requirements, design, development, testing, documentation, training, deployment, operations, support and maintenance
  • Ability to understand and create business process workflow diagrams or procedural documentation
  • Basic knowledge of API automation, database automation, Citrix automation
