Position Overview

This position will be responsible for all technical aspects of Power BI report development. Either as an individual contributor or as a team player supporting the Power BI lead in the creation and ongoing refinement of reports for various departments across business units.

Responsibilities

• Develop visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI Desktop.
• Connect data sources, import data, and transform data for business intelligence.
• Use analytical thinking to translate data into informative reports and visuals.
• Implement row‑level security on data and understand application security layer models in Power BI.
• Create DAX queries in Power BI Desktop.
• Perform advanced‑level calculations on the dataset.
• Design methodology and produce project documentation.
• Build tabular and multidimensional models compatible with data warehouse standards.
• Communicate requirements effectively with client teams and internal teams.

Requirements

• 8‑10 years of experience with BI tools and systems such as Power BI, Tableau, and ERP (JD Edwards/SAP etc.), preference for JDE experience.
• Knowledge of the Microsoft BI Stack.
• Software development skills.
• Data source connectivity: knowledge of connecting to databases, cloud services, and APIs.
• Power Query skills for data extraction and transformation.
• SQL proficiency for querying databases.
• Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate (preferred).
• Microsoft Certified: Power BI Certified (preferred).
