Job summary

Merkle in Mumbai (DGS India) seeks a data analyst with 3–7 years in market research to manage SPSS-based data processing projects. You will validate, merge, and code data, build validation scripts, and ensure high-quality, timely delivery across multiple client studies.

The role requires strong MR knowledge, excellent stakeholder communication, and the ability to handle fast-paced, high-volume work streams. Bachelor’s degree mandatory.

• Strong hands-on SPSS Data Validation experience.
• Expertise in validation, merging, coding, weighting, stacking, and formatting in SPSS.
• Ability to create and run SPSS validation scripts.
• Strong understanding of questionnaire logic and MR data structures.
• Experience managing multiple MR projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of Tracking, Concept Testing, Copy Testing, Segmentation, and MaxDiff.

Responsibilities

• Manage 8-10 concurrent market research data processing projects with minimal supervision.
• Perform data validation and processing using SPSS.
• Set up complex projects accurately and efficiently.
• Create and maintain project schedules and timelines.
• Coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders throughout the lifecycle.
• Proactively identify and resolve project issues and risks.
• Ensure first-time-right delivery for all studies.
• Develop and execute SPSS data validation scripts from various data sources.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure process compliance.
• Handle SPSS-based activities including coding, weighting, merging, stacking and formatting.
• Collaborate with clients to resolve project-related concerns.

• Support ongoing improvements in execution quality and productivity.
