Job summary

Merkle in Mumbai, India is seeking a data validation specialist to lead SPSS-based data processing for market research projects. You will validate, merge, weight, and format data, design validation scripts, and ensure accuracy across Tracking, Concept Testing, and MaxDiff studies.

The role requires strong analytical, project management, and client-facing skills, with the ability to handle 8–10 concurrent projects and ensure First Time Right delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in SPSS Data Validation.
• Expertise in data validation, data merging, coding, weighting, stacking, formatting, and SPSS functions.
• Ability to create and execute data validation scripts in SPSS.
• Strong understanding of questionnaire logic and market research data structures.
• Experience managing multiple market research projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of market research methodologies such as Tracking, Concept Testing, Copy Testing, Segmentation, and MaxDiff.

Responsibilities

• Manage 8-10 concurrent market research data processing projects with minimal supervision.
• Perform data validation and processing activities using SPSS.
• Prepare and execute complex project setups accurately and efficiently.
• Create and maintain project schedules and timelines.
• Coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Proactively identify and resolve project issues and risks.
• Ensure all studies are delivered using a First Time Right (FTR) approach.
• Develop and execute data validation scripts using various input data sources.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure process compliance.
• Handle SPSS-based activities including coding, weighting, merging, stacking, and formatting.
• Work closely with clients to resolve project-related concerns.
• Support ongoing improvements in execution quality and productivity.
