Job summary

Lowe's India, the Global Capability Center of Lowe's Companies Inc., seeks a Senior Analyst - Pro & Services Finance based in Bengaluru. The role focuses on financial analytics, performance insights, and scalable reporting for the Pro business, a $30B+ annual unit, across multiple geographies and channels.

You'll develop automated analytical solutions, dashboards, and data models while partnering with finance and business stakeholders to enable decision making.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, business analytics, or related field.
• Strong experience with Python for analytics, automation, or data manipulation is a plus.
• Experience with Power BI, DAX, and SQL for reporting and insights.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sales, margin, and plan performance across locations, products, customers, channels, and other business dimensions to identify performance drivers.
• Lead ad hoc analyses, diagnostics, and strategic deep dives in response to business questions and leadership priorities.
• Translate ambiguous problems into structured analytical frameworks and drive analysis through to completion.
• Develop sales and margin decomposition models to explain performance and quantify drivers, opportunities, and risks.
• Perform customer-level analytics including segmentation, benchmarking, behavioral trends, retention, and opportunity identification.
• Partner with SSCM Finance and stakeholders to provide decision-enabling insights and recommendations.
• Build, enhance, and maintain Power BI dashboards and tools with robust data models and intuitive visuals.
• Use SQL and Python to work with large datasets, validate data, and improve analytical efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to automate recurring processes and develop scalable, zero-touch reporting solutions.
• Support planning, forecasting, performance reviews, and other FP&A activities.

About Team

The Senior Analyst - Pro & Services Finance will support the Pro business, one of Lowe s largest and most strategically important growth areas.

Pro represents a $30B+ annual business and serves professional customers across multiple customer segments, geographies, products, and fulfillment channels. The role provides significant exposure to business performance management, customer analytics, financial diagnostics, strategic initiatives, and automation. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running, operate independently, navigate ambiguity, and translate complex data into clear business insights and recommendations.

This role is well suited for an individual who combines strong financial and analytical thinking with technical capabilities and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze sales, margin, and plan performance across locations, products, customers, channels, and other business dimensions to identify underlying performance drivers.
• Lead ad hoc analyses, diagnostics, and strategic deep dives in response to emerging business questions and leadership priorities.
• Translate ambiguous business problems into structured analytical frameworks, identify the right datasets and methodologies, and drive analysis through completion.
• Develop sales and margin decomposition models to explain performance and quantify key drivers, opportunities, and risks.
• Perform customer-level analytics including segmentation, benchmarking, behavioral trends, retention, and opportunity identification.
• Partner closely with SSCM Finance and business stakeholders to provide decision-enabling insights and recommendations.
• Build, enhance, and maintain Power BI dashboards and analytical tools, including robust data models, DAX measures, and intuitive visualizations.
• Use SQL and Python to work with large datasets, conduct advanced analysis, validate data, and improve analytical efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to automate recurring processes and develop scalable, zero-touch reporting and analytical solutions.
• Support planning, forecasting, performance reviews, and other FP&A activities as required.
• Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders, focusing not only on what happened, but also why it happened, what it means, and what actions should be considered.
• Independently manage deliverables and stakeholder expectations while maintaining strong accuracy and attention to detail.

Education Qualifications

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in FP&A, financial analysis, business analytics, financial reporting, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Python for analytics, automation, or data manipulation.
• Experience with Power Automate or other workflow automation tools.
• Prior experience in retail, customer analytics, commercial finance, sales finance, or business performance management.
• Experience developing automated reporting or zero-touch analytical solutions.
• Exposure to customer segmentation, pricing, sales productivity, margin analytics, or performance diagnostics.
