Job summary

DXC Technology Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Java backend developer to design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring, Spring Boot and Hibernate. You will build RESTful services and optimize queries in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

The role requires 5–8 years of hands‑on Java experience, proficiency with databases (Oracle/SQL Server/PostgreSQL/MySQL), and a strong grasp of Agile/Scrum practices.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of Java development experience.
• Strong hands‑on with Java 8/11+, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Hibernate/JPA.
• Good knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and Microservices architecture.
• Strong SQL skills with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Experience in SQL query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Hands‑on experience with Maven/Gradle, Git, JUnit, and Mockito.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
