Job summary

Qualifications

Job Description: About the Role We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain robust backend services that power our applications. In this role, you will work extensively with Java, Spring Boot, and the Spring Framework to create scalable and secure solutions that integrate seamlessly with frontend applications through RESTful APIs. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of backend development, from designing APIs to optimizing database performance and ensuring application security. Working with both NoSQL and SQL databases such as MongoDB and MSSQL, you will contribute to schema design, performance tuning, and indexing strategies that keep applications running efficiently. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with DevOps teams and gain exposure to cloud technologies, particularly AWS services, while contributing to performance engineering and application monitoring efforts that ensure high-quality, reliable software delivery.

Other Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of AWS services (S3, EC2, Lambda, IAM, API Gateway, ECS) is a plus.
• Familiarity with performance engineering, application monitoring, and optimization.
• Knowledge of AWS common services and DevOps practices is a plus.
