Job summary

DXC Technology Morocco is seeking a Business Tester to support Agile delivery for Group insurance platforms, focusing on Group Asia Group 400’s Policy and Claims modules. The role involves hands-on testing, defect management, and close collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

You will develop test strategies, plans, scenarios, and scripts, execute comprehensive tests, and ensure high-quality documentation and reviews throughout the Software Testing Life Cycle.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of UAT/Business Testing in Group insurance.
• Experience on Group Asia Group 400 Platform (Policy & Claims).
• Proficient in Agile environments.
• Basic SQL for data validation.

Responsibilities

• Develop test strategies, plans, scenarios, and scripts from project specs.
• Execute functional, system, regression, smoke and sanity tests across insurance apps.
• Identify, record, track, and close defects using the defect-tracking tool.
• Review Functional Specs and Style Guides to understand modules and requirements.
• Maintain bug reports, delivery notes, and testing documentation.
• Participate in peer reviews, walkthroughs, and test-case reviews.
• Communicate testing progress and risks in status meetings with cross-functional teams.
• Support UAT and coordinate with business stakeholders as required.
• Contribute independently while collaborating effectively with the team.

Job Description:The position emphasizes Agile delivery, Group insurance expertise, experience with Group Asia Group 400, and high-quality testing documentation.Role OverviewThe Business Tester will prepare test strategies, plans, scenarios, and scripts that align with project requirements. The role involves hands-on testing across insurance platforms, participation in project meetings, stakeholder collaboration, and defect management throughout delivery.Key Responsibilities• Develop test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and test scripts from project specifications.• Execute functional, system, regression, smoke, and sanity testing across insurance applications.• Identify, record, track, and close defects using the designated defect-tracking tool throughout the full Software Testing Life Cycle process.• Review Functional Specifications and Style Guides to understand application modules, functionality, and requirements.• Maintain bug reports, delivery notes, and other testing documentation.• Participate in peer reviews, walkthroughs, and review meetings for test cases and related deliverables.• Work with cross-functional teams and attend status meetings to communicate testing progress and risks.• Support User Acceptance Testing and coordinate with business stakeholders when required.• Contribute independently while also functioning effectively as a team member.Required Skills and AttributesThe role requires strong knowledge of Agile Scrum methodology and practical experience with insurance platforms, particularly Group Asia Group 400 and its Policy and Claims modules.
