Job summary

DB Engineering is seeking a transport planning professional in Bengaluru, India, to drive technical delivery for urban transit projects, including multi-modal integration, route planning, and station design. You will coordinate with domain experts, project managers, and clients, handling reports, minutes, and stakeholder communications.

The role also involves supporting bid preparation, tracking new opportunities, and assisting in technical proposals, along with procurement and contract

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Planning; Masters in Planning (Transport preferred).
• 0–2 years of experience in consulting, infrastructure advisory, or similar roles.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office and understanding of project commercials and client-facing workflows.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder consulting environment with a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Technical Transport Planning: drive data synthesis for urban transit systems and multimodal integration.
• Project Governance Coordination: manage day-to-day operations, reports, minutes, and stakeholder communication.
• Business Development Commercials: support bid preparation and assist with proposals, procurement, and contracts.
• Systems/Software Application: leverage Metro, HSR, and BRTS knowledge with PTV VISSIM, GIS, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Technical Transport Planning: Drive technical delivery and data synthesis for urban transit systems, focusing on Multi-Modal Integration, Route Planning, Traffic Studies, Station Design, and Last Mile Connectivity.
• Project Governance Coordination: Manage day-to-day project operations by coordinating with domain experts, project managers, and clients, while handling progress reports, minutes, and stakeholder communication.
• Business Development Commercials: Support bid preparation, track new opportunities, and assist with the development of technical proposals, alongside managing procurement and contract administration tasks.
• Systems / Software Application: Leverage knowledge of Metro, High-Speed Rail, and BRTS systems to support project design, applying strong technical writing skills and software proficiency in PTV VISSIM, GIS, and MS Office

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Engineering/ Planning; Masters degree in Planning (Transport preferred)
