Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Bengaluru seeks a Senior Advanced Project Engineer to lead large aerospace projects, owning cost, schedule, and customer deliveries within a global matrix environment. You will guide design goals, prioritize work, and drive execution with engineering teams across multiple disciplines.

The role requires 10+ years in aerospace, BE/BTech or ME/MTec, and a Project Management Certification with Agile experience.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in the aerospace domain.
  • B.E./B.TECH, M.E./M.TECH, or equivalent engineering degree.
  • Project Management Certification and experience in Agile deployment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the project life cycle including customer needs, schedule and scope definition, budget estimation, program planning and execution, and risk mitigation.
  • Manage the program health and overall metrics for cost, schedule, and risks.
  • Address barriers and streamline workflow to maximize efficiencies.
  • Work with stakeholders to drive collaborations, define strategies for addressing interdependencies, and manage relationships.
  • Provide effective communication and direction to the engineering team, and recognize and motivate to maximize performance.
  • Bring strong knowledge of aerospace products with exposure to computing hardware, communication interfaces, and network systems.
  • Bring high risk‑taking abilities, drive results with innovative strategies, and execute ideas from concepts to reality.
  • Understand the Aerospace Engineering Process (AEP) for program management.

Sr Adv Project Engineer

This position requires you to lead the program execution of a large project as the primary decision maker for program cost, schedule, and customer deliveries. You will manage the prioritization of work packages, set design goals and objectives, drive collaboration with multiple stakeholders, and bring excellence in execution for on-time deliveries. You will be the driving force behind the program’s success, accomplishing goals with detailed work plans, managing teams, achieving milestones, establishing day‑to‑day priorities, and communicating results to global stakeholders.

You will be required to demonstrate strong leadership and work under a matrix‑based environment in a global context.
