Sonata Software is seeking a seasoned SQL Server/Data Platform Solution Architect to design, optimize and migrate data platforms across on-premises and cloud environments. You will drive performance tuning, high availability configurations, and data platform modernization with Azure tools and services.

The role requires in-depth SQL Server expertise, cloud experience, and strong customer-facing skills to guide clients through complex architecture decisions and implementations.

Formación

• Enterprise level support and administration focused on SQL performance and tuning.

Job Title: Customer Engineer for SQL Server/ Data Platform

Exp: 8-20 years

Location: Hyderabad/Bangalore/Chennai

Shifts: Night and rotational shifts

We are seeking a skilled and experienced SQL Server & Data Platform Solution Architect with expertise in SQL Server, Azure SQL, and Data Warehousing. For SQL Server, there should be a strong focus on Performance, High Availability, and Failover Clustering. An ideal candidate will play a key role in design, development and optimization of SQL Server Data Platform deployments as well as assisting in migration and modernization to Azure.

Skills/ Job Expertise Needed

• Enterprise level support and administration focused specifically on:
  • SQL performance and tuning optimization, Clustering, Always On Availability groups, High Availability, Core SQL +Migration, on-premises and cloud.
• SQL Server on IaaS experience on Azure/ Other public cloud required.
• All versions of SQL Server (2012 and onwards)
• Solving performance problems, query tuning, and optimization
• Architectural experience for Data Platform
• Architecting for High Availability and Disaster recovery solutions using FCI, Always on Availability groups
• Azure data factory, Azure SQLDB, Azure SQLDB Managed Instance, Azure Synapse knowledge is a plus.
• Delivering and/or authoring technical training
• SQL Server Integration Services, Reporting Services, Analysis Services
• Power BI experience and knowledge are a plus.
• Advanced Microsoft certifications preferred.
• Previous Consulting and/or customer facing role.
