The role emphasizes performance tuning, high availability, disaster recovery, and cloud modernization with Azure SQL, Synapse and Data Factory.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in SQL Server/Data Platform
• Strong focus on performance tuning, clustering and HA/DR
• Experience with on-premises and cloud migrations to Azure
• Experience with Azure SQL, Data Factory, Synapse
• Experience with SSIS/SSRS/SSAS and Power BI
• Experience in data modeling and DBA activities

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and optimize SQL Server/Data Platform solutions
• Architect High Availability and Disaster Recovery using FCI and Always On AGs
• Lead migration/modernization to Azure and cloud deployments
• Provide performance tuning, query optimization, and capacity planning
• Engage in data modeling, metadata management and security practices
• Collaborate with clients in a consulting/customer-facing role

Job Description

Job Title: Customer Engineer for SQL Server/ Data Platform

Exp: 8-20 years
Location: Hyderabad/Bangalore/Chennai
Shifts: Night and rotational shifts

We are seeking askilled and experienced SQL Server & Data Platform SolutionArchitect with expertise in SQL Server, Azure SQL, and DataWarehousing. For SQL Server, there should be a strong focus onPerformance, High Availability, and Failover Clustering. An idealcandidate will play a key role in design, development andoptimization of SQL Server Data Platform deployments as well asassisting in migration and modernization to Azure.

Skills/ Jobexpertise needed:

Enterpriselevel support and administration focused specifically on:

SQLperformance and tuning optimization, Clustering, Always OnAvailability groups, High Availability, Core SQL +Migration,on-premises and cloud.

SQL Server onIaaS experience on Azure/ Other public cloud required.

All versions ofSQL Server (2012 and onwards)

Solvingperformance problems, query tuning, and optimization

Architecturalexperience for Data Platform

Architectingfor High Availability and Disaster recovery solutions using FCI,Always on Availability groups

Azure datafactory, Azure SQLDB, Azure SQLDB Managed Instance, Azure Synapseknowledge is a plus.
