Job Description

Synechron is seeking a highly skilled and experienced SQL Database Developer to spearhead our database solutions and drive data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in SQL Server, SSIS, and SSRS, with a strong background in designing, developing, and maintaining complex database systems.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server databases, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability.
Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers to support business applications.
Build and maintain ETL processes using SSIS to facilitate data integration and migration.
Create, deploy, and manage reports and dashboards using SSRS for various business functions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into robust database solutions.
Perform database tuning, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system operation.
Maintain documentation related to database architecture, processes, and standards.
Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
Mentor and guide junior team members, promoting best practices in database development.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
7+ years of hands‑on experience in database development and administration.
Extensive experience with SQL Server (SQL Server 2016/2019 or later).
Proficiency in SSIS for ETL processes.
