Job summary

Posidex Technologies in Mumbai is seeking an SQL-Application Support/Developer to maintain and optimize database-backed applications for BFSI clients. Local male candidates only.

You will work with SQL/PLSQL on Linux, perform performance tuning, and handle troubleshooting and debugging to ensure smooth operation. Training will be provided in Hyderabad for 45-60 days, with eventual 24/7 support responsibilities.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech/BCA/MCA/M.Tech-IT/M.Sc-IT with 60%+ in all academics.
• 2–5 years of experience in SQL-Application support/development.
• Marathi and English languages mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Write efficient SQL/PLSQL, develop complex queries, joins and stored procedures.
• Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks and optimize queries.
• Troubleshoot and debug application, DB and Linux issues.
• Perform health checks, backups and log management for apps.

Qualification:

B.E/B.Tech/BCA/MCA/M.Tech-IT/M.Sc-IT

Note: 60% and above (First class in all academics (SSC, HSC/12th/Diploma, Degree/PG) is required).

Exp: 2-5 years only

Work Location: Mumbai and willing to work anywhere in India.

Note: Languages: English and Marathi are mandatory.

Client: BFSI domain.

Note :

1.Written Test (Aptitude & Technical(SQL)) will be conducted online.

2.Technical Interview and HR Round of Interview will be virtual Interviews for Mumbai/Pune candidates.

3.After Selection, Training will be given in Hyderabad for 45-60 days.

(Candidates need to come to Hyderabad for Training).

Responsibilities:

1. 1.Demonstrate strong communication skills to work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, ensuring smooth and clear exchanges of information.
2. 2.Should have in-depth working experience with SQL and PLSQL to write efficient, scalable, and optimized SQL queries. Should be able to develop complex joins, subqueries, and stored procedures to support application needs.
3. 3.Monitor, identify bottlenecks and optimize SQL query performance to enhance efficiency and reduce system resource consumption.
4. 4.Demonstrate working knowledge of Linux environments. Experience with troubleshooting system-level issues is highly desirable.
5. 5.Ability to work from any location in India and be flexible with shifts, ensuring 24/7 operational support.
6. 6.Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, or others) is preferable,
7. 7.Strong problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently. Capable of debugging application, system, and database issues and offering timely resolutions.
8. 8.Conduct regular health checks on applications to ensure seamless operation. Perform necessary housekeeping tasks to maintain system efficiency, including log management, backups.
