Responsibilities

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Strong hands-on experience in Java 8+, OOP, Collections, Streams, Functional Interfaces, Multithreading, Executor Framework, Concurrent HashMap, JVM basics.
• Solid expertise in Spring Boot (Actuator, Profiles, MVC, AOP, Security, Batch).
• Ability to build & consume REST APIs, handle validations, exception handling, idempotent requests.
• Good knowledge of Microservices architecture (service registry, API gateway, circuit breaker, JWT security, client/server-side load balancing).
• Experience with Messaging systems Kafka (Pub-Sub & PTP concepts).
• Proficiency in Unit Testing with JUnit/Mockito and enforcing test quality.
• Strong understanding of SQL & NoSQL (joins, indexes, sharding, ACID, tuning).
• Hands-on with JPA/Hibernate, entity lifecycle, transactions.
• Knowledge of caching (Redis or in-memory), eviction strategies.
