Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a skilled Splunk engineer to design, develop and maintain Splunk knowledge objects, dashboards and reports across ITSI.

The role involves integrating logs, deploying agents on Unix/Windows platforms, tuning performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize observability.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of Splunk ITSI and its implementation.
• Solid knowledge of Splunk Development.
• Ability to integrate various data logs into Splunk.
• Understanding of Splunk agent installation and configuration on HF’s, UF’s, DS and other Splunk components.
• Strong understanding of Data Visualization using Splunk.
• Knowledge of Splunk agent deployment across Unix and Windows with backend configurations.
• Experience in managing Splunk configuration files and knowledge objects like reports, alerts and dashboards.
• Understanding of Splunk add-ons like DB Connect, ServiceNow etc.

Responsibilities

Splunk Observability Cloud & AIOps / NEAP Policy Management (APM, infrastructure monitoring, event policies, noise reduction)

Performance Tuning & Troubleshooting (search optimization, indexing issues, license mgmt, incident handling)

Job Requirements*

• Good knowledge of Splunk IT Service Intelligence and its implementation.
• Candidates should have a good knowledge on the Splunk Development part.
• Ability to integrate various data logs into Splunk.
• Understanding of Splunk agent installation and configuration on HF’s, UF’s, DS and other Splunk components.
• Strong understanding of Data Visualization using Splunk.
• Knowledge of Splunk agent deployment across a variety of Unix and windows platforms with hands on experience in backend configurations.
• Experience in managing Splunk configuration files and Splunk knowledge objects like reports, alerts and dashboards.
• Understanding of Splunk add-ons like DB Connect, ServiceNow etc.
